Data Deletion

You have the right to delete your HeySugarDaddy account and the personal data we hold about you. This page explains the options available to you and what happens to your data when you make a deletion request.

1. Delete Your Account From the App

The quickest way to delete your account and personal data is directly through the platform:

  1. Log in to your HeySugarDaddy account.
  2. Go to Settings from the sidebar or menu.
  3. Scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom of the page.
  4. Click Delete My Account and confirm when prompted.

Your account will be permanently deleted immediately. This action cannot be undone.

2. Request Deletion by Email

If you are unable to access your account, or if you connected via Facebook or Instagram and would like us to delete the associated data, you can submit a deletion request by emailing us at:

Please include the following in your email:

  • The email address registered to your HeySugarDaddy account.
  • Your full name as it appears on the account (if known).
  • A brief description of your request (e.g. "Please delete all data associated with my account").

We will process your request and send a confirmation within 30 days in accordance with our obligations under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).

3. What Gets Deleted

When your account is deleted — whether through the app or by email request — the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your profile information (name, bio, photos, city, interests).
  • Your messages and conversation history.
  • Your social account connections (Facebook, Instagram).
  • Your verification records and uploaded identity documents.
  • Your notification preferences and settings.
  • Any token balance remaining in your account (unspent tokens are non-refundable — see our Refund Policy).

4. What We Retain

Certain data may be retained after account deletion where we are legally required or permitted to do so:

  • Financial transaction records — token purchase and payout records are retained for up to 7 years for tax and accounting compliance.
  • Legal hold data — where a law enforcement request or legal proceeding requires us to preserve specific records.
  • Fraud and abuse logs — anonymised records of account bans or safety incidents may be retained to prevent re-registration.
  • Aggregated analytics — de-identified statistical data that cannot be linked back to you.

5. Facebook and Instagram Data

If you used Facebook Login or Instagram to verify your account, HeySugarDaddy only stores the minimal data returned by those platforms — specifically your account name and a unique identifier. We do not store your Facebook or Instagram password, friends list, posts, or any other content.

Deleting your HeySugarDaddy account removes this linked data from our systems. To also revoke HeySugarDaddy's access from your Facebook account directly, visit Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites and remove HeySugarDaddy from the list.

6. Your Rights Under UK GDPR

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation you have the right to:

  • Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request that we delete your personal data.
  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We respond to all requests within 30 days. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
